The Social Networking Site for 50 and Over

Social websites have come a long way over the past decade. Sites like Myspace, or LiveJournal, have dictated to the younger high school student. Meanwhile Facebook was started originally for college students. In fact, you couldn't even sign up without a universities email account. Facebook is now mainstream, and people in their 50's are more than welcome to join, but it's just not suited for an older age group.
Facebook, and twitter are loaded with your average teenage, hormone raging, acne faced, adolescents. Sometimes this can get down right annoying. So where is the social network for us? The answer is Saga Zone.

Saga Zone, is a fairly new website compared to other social networking phenomenons. The great thing about Saga Zone is you have to be at least 50 to join. Even when registering, the earliest year for date of birth you can choose is 1961. The website features a wide array of categories and things to do that is just a better feel than something like Facebook. Even their slogan is, "Doing Things Properly." Saga Zone has all the social things you need, without all of the nonsense or spam.

Saga Zone offers a number of great features. You can have your own profile, or blog. You can start clubs, post pictures, discuss various topics on forums. Topics that are actually intelligent for once too. Not just that latest viral video that is going around. Topics like health, finance, travel, leisure, and insurance. Anything you want. You can also set privacy settings for friends only, or send private emails as well. Everything is done with kindness, respect, and in the right way.

Saga Zone has a list of valuable rules to weed out people attempting to corrupt a perfectly good website. No cursing, explicit pictures, spamming, impersonations, or use of hate speech. Saga zone is also, only for the English language. It is great for catching up with old high school or college friends. Who knows? Maybe you will be the one to start the "club" for your alma mater. There is something to do for everyone.

This particular social networking website is extremely user friendly. Saga Zone is easy to update, maintain, and is very functional. Icons are large, and use friendly coloring to make viewing them easier. Overall, it is a great website. It is catching on fast, and not too fast. It doesn't have a huge amount of advertisements all over it, and thats what makes it great. This is definitely the social networking website for you!
