Hi, Jane! Tell us about yourself with few sentences!
Hi my name is Jane Sheeba. I am an Indian blogger, married to a lovely person and have a 2+ year old son. We are a happy family.
I love to listen to music while working. I am better off alone. I am an introvert but I talk a LOT to my hubby lol.
How did you start blogging? What were your inspiration and your goal as beginner blogger?
My "inspiration" to start blogging is quite funny. I just wanted to do something to cope with my loneliness when I went to the UK for my Ph. D (for the first time, I got away from home!). So I started a blogger blog where I shared pretty much about anything and everything that interested me. I also hung out in a lot of entertainment forums.
Then one fine day my blogger blogs got deleted. And so the new journey started :)
How many blog do you write?
I currently write at 7 blogs-
and I also manage a handful of niche sites. With niche sites I outsource the writing work and other maintenance/content managing work there.
Are those blogs related to your work or hobby in any way?
All my blogs are related to my online business; even my personal blog!
Tell us more about your eBooks and why what make them unique?
I have two free ebooks - "Problogging for newbies" and "Your guide to better time management". These two books are offered a a gift to whoever decides to join my list. In both these books I share what I learned in a hard way in about 3-5 years of my blogging journey (starting from 2007ish). That makes them unique :) coz, they're purely the lessons from my experience so that today's newbie bloggers can by pass those mistakes and achieve quicker success.
These two books are available here -
I have two premium ebooks:
Problogging Action Plan - It is the blue print for anyone who wants to start their problogging journey NOW; right now. I've laid all the necessary information a blogger would need to start a blogging business, in this book. The book not only helps you to precisely identify your blogging goal but also provides you with an action plan to achieve the same.
Guest Blogging Champion - Looking at the number of guest posts I've written, many people repeatedly emailed me asking about my guest blogging strategies. So I put together the exact strategy I use for quicker blogging success via guest blogging in this book. I've also priced the book very low (just $10) coz I just wanted to help newbies attain quicker success with their blogging.
Do you offer services?
Yes I offer blog consultation, blog audit and Thesis theme customization as my main services. I also do offer other services (details here - https://www.probloggingsuccess.com/hire/)
SEO, Quality Content or SMO? What matters for you the most?
Content - hands down. I won't go to or rely on any other thing without quality content in the first place. Of course when I have quality content, I won't shy with optimizing it for SEO and promoting it on social media.
You just shared with us that you are married, how do you find the balance between blogging and family?
Yes, it is indeed hard to keep up with family, business, and work (my day job). Especially given that I have a 2+ year old naughty boy :) But my hubby is very helpful. And I have an in-house Content Manager (my hubby's cousin) to help me with blogging work.
I am in general good at managing my time effectively. I use tools like Evernote, Astrid and Desktop Reminder to track my time management and get tasks done effectively. I always see that I start a day with a list of tasks I have for the day. I never wake up not knowing what to do for the day and then take up tasks as they come in! I always have a plan (not bragging).
Top 3 tips from Jane Sheeba for new bloggers?

In conclusion, tell us about your goal for 2013
In 2013 I want to take my blog to the next level. I would like to explore new things, learn new stuff etc. so that I can tap into some of the areas that I haven't touched enough. For instance, I am picking up on Videos these days - something I used to shy away from doing. I won't be releasing any infoproduct in 2013 (no plans). I want to increase my subscriber base to 5 times more (currently on a plateau).
Thank you very much, Jane! The whole team of WebmaisterPro wish you a great success in your blogging journey and personal life!
